Facility Task Force
The Gilbert School Board established a small task force, specifically, the Facility Task Force (FTF), to begin planning work on facility projects at the elementary and current high school building that are a part of the long-range district plan. The FTF is co-chaired by board member Tyler Holck and Superintendent Lindsey Beecher, along with members Jeff Becker, Ed Engle, Mike Haverdink and Marcia DeZonia.
The responsibilities of this committee will be:
-Prioritize GSD facility projects including overall timeline
-For specific projects (highest priority first) the committee will work to: a) Identify needs including time-frame and engage appropriate administration and community members for input; b) Develop potential solutions (preferably options with pros/cons of each) including cost/timelines to present to the School Board; and c) The task team may have further involvement during the actual work on the project based on the direction from the school board.
-Provide feedback and recommendations on communication with our community regarding facility projects.
