EXCITING NEWS! We received bids for the new High School Project on January 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. There were a total of 11 general contractors who bid the job. The base bid came in low enough for the district to consider all of the alternates. The board of directors will be meeting with DLR to go over the options that were included in the bids next week. We hope to award the contract soon.
We appreciate all of your input throughout the last few years and also your patience as we waited for the bids to come in.The board supports the communities' priorities of building an auditorium and upgrading our athletic facilities and moving them to the new high school site. This additional information provided by the bids will allow us to quickly move forward developing a financial plan and a timeline for all these exciting improvements to happen.
