Facilities Committee

Community Facilities Committee (CFC)

The following district parents and patrons have agreed to serve as members of the district's Community Facilities Committee.  The committee is charged with representing the best interests of the Gilbert Community School District, assisting with the development and implementation of a communication plan supporting a potential Gilbert Community School District Bond Referendum, and through participation in one to two planning workshops following the bond referendum, provide continual over sight of School District interests and priorities supporting development of final school building and school site improvement plans.

Long Range Planning Committee (Facilities Committee)

At the October 20, 2009 Gilbert School Board meeting, the Board decided to establish a "community led committee" focused on gathering comments and suggestions, and to listen to thoughts and ideas from the Gilbert community on our school facilities.  This committee is charged to hold public meetings where the entire community is invited to participate and collaborate in drafting suggestions to the school board on a 25 year long range facility plan.
