Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Gilbert Community School District!  The Gilbert district is a growing, thriving school located in the heart of Iowa.  We take great pride in the learning environment we have created here for all students and believe our student’s efforts have set them on the right path for life after Gilbert.  We have three priorities for the long term benefit of our students and they include; (1) High academic achievement for all students, (2) Provide a safe and quality learning environment to meet the changing needs of the district, students and staff, and (3) Support leadership growth & development.

  • Parents of athletes:

This year, the required athletic forms that need to be filled out every year (concussion waiver, insurance waiver, and emergency contact and health forms) will need to be filled out online.  On the athletics page of the Gilbert Community Schools website you will find the new fillable form under the "flyers/forms/camps" tab.  If you do not have access to a computer or the internet, please contact the athletic office at the high school and we can arrange a time for you to use a computer at the school.

Each athlete will need to have this form completed to be eligible to play sports. Multiple-sport athletes will only need to fill the form out once each year.

Paper copies of physical forms will still need to be turned in to the athletic office at the high school. Parents are urged to make a copy of the physical for their records as well.

    Thank you for your cooperation!
